Normandy student arrested for threat

NORMANDY, Mo. (KSDK) - A female student at Normandy Junior High School was taken into custody Thursday for an alleged terroristic threat.

According to Detective Sgt. Louis Porzelt, a spokesman for the Normandy Police Department, said the school was placed on lockdown over a threat made online.

Investigators interviewed several students and identified one student responsible.

Due to the suspect's age, Porzelt said police will not release any additional information on the incident.
