Officers in the North County Police cooperative are wearing pink shirts every Tuesday and Friday in October.

Some local police officers have joined the fight against breast cancer.

Officers in the North County Police cooperative are wearing pink shirts every Tuesday and Friday in October.

They partnered with the American Cancer Society to raise money and awareness.

And officers say wearing bright pink shirts is the perfect way to call attention to the cause.

Officers hope to raise $10,000.
