One Run relay to Boston Marathon arrives in Franklin County

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Mo. – The One Run relay to the Boston Marathon has arrived in Franklin County.

The team is running day and night for four weeks to help the victims of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombings.

The torch runners with One Run for Boston made their way through Franklin County Wednesday night. The relay across America benefits One Fund Boston. It started in Los Angeles on March 16 and finishes on April 13 in Boston, one week before the Boston Marathon.

One Run for Boston was set up by three British runners last July. More than 2,000 runners participated and they raised $91,000.
