Ozzie Smith, Harry Connick Jr.to participate in Game 5

ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – Ozzie Smith will throw out the first pitch Monday night at Game 5 of the World Series.

New American Idol judge Harry Connick Jr. is slated to sing the National Anthem. Angie Johnson, a tech sergeant with the Missouri Air National Guard, will sing "God Bless America" during the seventh inning stretch.

Bank of America is providing fans with American flags at each entrance to the stadium. Fans are asked to wave their flags during "God Bless America" as an expression of thanks to our troops. The bank will donate $1 for each fan participating in the wave to Welcome Back Veterans and the Wounded Warrior Project, up to $1 million. The money goes to helping veterans succeed.

Sixteen-year-old Eric Davis, Jr. will bring the first game ball to the mound with former Cardinal Jim Edmonds. Davis is part of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis – Herbert Hoover Club.
