Power restored to Kirkwood residents following outage

KIRKWOOD, MO. - Thousands of residents in Kirkwood were without power Thursday morning. The City of Kirkwood says power has been restored.

A primary electric line caused a major outage in the city and 5,000 resident did not have power for about an hour.

West Adams Avenue in Kirkwood remains closed to traffic between Lindeman and Ballas until at least 8 p.m. Residents who live in homes between 1630 and 1901 West Adams will not be able to enter the street of their homes because of some wires down across driveways. Residents in the address range are encouraged to not leave their homes.
