Rockwood breaks ground on research center

FENTON, Mo. - The home of the Falcons will soon be home to a biofuel research center.

Monday afternoon, ground was broken on the Monsanto Education Center for Sustainable Solutions at Rockwood Summit High School in Fenton. Once completed, students will be able to plant crops and learn how plants are turned into renewable sources of fuel.

The project is being funded by a $100,000 grant from Monsanto.
