Slay: City of St. Louis offices closed Monday

ST. LOUIS - St. Louis city offices will be closed Monday due to the harsh winter conditions, Mayor Slay's Office said.

Municipal Courts will also be closed.

The city's emergency operations center will remain open and be staffed around the clock until the snow emergency is over. The cold weather overflow shelter at 12th and Park Rec Center is open to provide shelter to homeless folks who need a place to stay.

To contact the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department for non-emergencies, call 314-231-1212. That number is also good to contact other city services, including road service, downed wires and trees, animal abuse or other animal emergencies. The city's Citizens' Service Bureau can be reached at 314-622-4800.

To report an interruption in water service or a water main break, call the St. Louis City Water Department at 314-771-4880.
