St. Louis gets federal grant to help homeless

The city of St. Louis is putting a million dollars into a new plan to fight homelessness.

The city received the money as part of a federal grant. The money will be used to put as many as 150 people into homes and apartments next year.

It's an idea called rapid "re-housing" and it's about much more than just giving people a place to stay.

The program also includes things like moving cost assistance and credit counseling.
