St. Louis: Our beautiful city

KSDK - St. Louis is home to some beautiful things, and we want to show them all to the world! So, we're looking around our area for the most beautiful things in St. Louis.

We hope this page will grow with new and beautiful galleries, but we need your help. What do you find beautiful in St. Louis? Email us at and let us know where you think we should visit. If we can, we'll set out to shoot photos of your suggestions and post a new gallery below.

Week #3: The Central Library downtown

The St. Louis Central Library, located downtown at 1301 Olive Street, is an architectural treasure many St. Louisans haven't visited, or even know about! The library reopened in 2012 after a two-year, $70 million renovation and was picked by the American Institute of Architects in 2014 for an Honor Award.

The library is open Monday – Thursday from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., and on Sunday from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. (first floor only). Click here for more information

Week #2: Take a tour inside Busch Stadium

Cardinal Nation, you haven't truly seen Busch Stadium until you've taken the stadium tour. Tour-goers are allowed access to areas like the radio press box and the player's clubhouse, along with other areas you may not be allowed in when attending a game as a fan. Enjoy!

Week #1: Mosaics at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis

You don't have to be Catholic to appreciate the beauty of one of the largest mosaic collections in the western hemisphere. The mosaics inside the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis cover 83,000 square feet and contain 41.5 million pieces of glass tesserae. Enjoy!
