STL native surprises 6-year-old fan

TRENTON, N.J. – The captain of the Princeton University ice hockey team made a 6-year-old's dreams come true earlier this week.

Six-year-old Colin Doan is Jack Berger's No. 1 fan.

Jack, a St. Louis native and Saint Louis University High School graduate, surprised Colin Monday morning as the "mystery reader" for his kindergarten class, reports The Trentonian.

Colin first met Jack in November 2012 when his parents took him to a Princeton hockey game. Colin took a liking to Jack, and asked to go to more games and to take ice hockey lessons. The two met a few more times, with Colin decided he wants to be just like Jack when he grows up.
