STL zoo sea lions begin spring training

ST. LOUIS – The St. Louis Cardinals aren't the only ones in spring training. On Monday, former Cards pitcher Andy Benes threw out the "first fish" for the sea lions at the St. Louis Zoo.

They're practicing for their spring training shows that start on March 15. The trainers are working with the sea lions on high jumps, balancing acts and high dives.

The Cardinal-themed spring training show will run twice a day at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. from March 15 to 30.
