KSDK -- A panel of local religious leaders spoke out Monday afternoon against a DVD sent to millions of homes across the United States.
The DVD, titled "Obsession", claims to offer insight into an alleged war against the West by Islam. The film was made by Israeli filmmaker Raphael Shore and shows disturbing, sometimes violent images.
Around 28 million copies of the DVD were mailed out to homes in key battleground states across the country in September, some issued with newspapers. Some papers refused to issue the DVD due to its content.
Today members of the Interfaith Partnership voiced their displeasure with the documentary. They said it was not done fairly and portrayed Islam as a violent religion bent on killing Jews and Christians.
