KSDK -- The Mayor Pro Tem in Austin takes jabs at St. Louis in a new political video.
In the video posted on YouTube.com, Brewster McCracken warns voters that he can help keep Austin from becoming a city that is sliding in the wrong direction, like St. Louis. McCracken said St. Louis was one of the largest cities in 1904, but now it is not in the top 50 biggest cities in the nation. He said there are parts of the urban core in St. Louis that are abandoned and showed pictures of the city.
