KSDK -- Two women have been approved as new principals in the Rockwood School District.
The Rockwood Board of Education said Connie Browning will take over as principal at Uthoff Valley Elementary. She is replacing Connie Crader, who retires at the end of the current school year. For the last nine years, Browning had served as principal of Palmyra Elementary in Palmyra, Missouri.
The board of education also named Dr. Jodi Davidson principal at Chesterfield Elementary School. She replaces the retiring Jill Ramsey. Prior to joining the Rockwood School District, Davidson served as associate principal of Lafayette High School since 2006.
Both Browning and Davidson officially assume their roles on July 1.
