KSDK -- The Missouri Highway Patrol has released the names of two victims who died in a multiple vehicle accident on Lindbergh Boulevard at Missouri Bottom Road on Tuesday.
Carol L. Sanders from St. Charles and Ronda C. Terrell from St. Louis both died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.
The Missouri Highway Patrol says three vehicles including the one being driven by Sanders were turning southbound on Lindbergh from northbound Missouri Bottom Road when a vehicle driven by Terrell failed to yield at a stop signal. Terrell's vehicle struck the driver side door of the vehicle Sanders was driving.
The accident caused the closure of Lindbergh Boulevard at Missouri Bottom Road for several hours on Tuesday evening for an investigation.
