MLB FanFest contributing some ticket proceeds to local organizations

KSDK -- Major League Baseball and the St. Louis Sports Commission have joined together on a venture to raise money for more than 50 local youth and community organizations.

For every full-price FanFest ticket a participating organization sells, $5 of those sales will be given back to said organization. Eligible organizations include athletic associations, parks and recreation departments, Boys & Girls Clubs, Boy Scouts of America, YMCA off Greater St. Louis and others.

FanFest features interactive exhibits and attractions, including clinics and seminars, free autograph sessions, memorabilia, and more.

MLB All-Star FanFest takes place Friday, July 10 through Tuesday, July 14. Tickets are $30 for adults and $25 for children under 12. To purchase FanFest tickets through your organization, contact the St. Louis Sports Commission at 314-345-5130.
