KSDK -- Charges were filed against a 17-year-old accused of shooting a 16-year-old boy in Kirkwood 's Meacham Park neighborhood last Wednesday.
The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's Office issued felony warrants of second degree assault and armed criminal action against Dyanthany Proudie of the 9800 block of Portage in Moline Acres.
Authorities believe Proudie was in a fight at the intersection of Alsobrook and Orleans Streets just before eight last Wednesday evening when he opened fire, hitting the victim in the neck. The victim is expected to make a full recovery.
Proudie is being held on $100,000 bond at the St Louis County Justice Center on the felony charges listed above as well as charges from other agencies.
