Once Upon a Bash

In the world of imagination many teens and tweens want to feel like their favorite pop star, little girls usually all want to be a princess.

But on their birthday, what most kids really want is to feel special.

"It's their one day to shine" says Jaimel Gauda, Once Upon a Bash creator.

That's why "Once Upon a Bash" in Maplewood got into the birthday party business.

"We want it to be perfect its just once a year" Jaimel says.

Creator Jaimel Gauda is as detail oriented as Michelangelo was painting the Sistine Chapel.

"We take everything to the extreme" she says.

There's custom princess invites, princess party favors, pink princess decor on the table, and the designer cupcakes are fit for a queen.

"We just go over the top as much as we can" Jaimel says.

Not only will her majesty and her court dress up like princesses, adorned with crowns and magic wands but the party will be hosted by a princess, and these hosts are no amateurs.

If your teen or tween desires a pop star party, their BFF's will be invited by their very own CD.

Then they better be ready to rock some fierce fashion because there is a wall full of choices including shirts, skirts, bracelets, hats, shades, rings, etc.

But these are only 2 options out of more then 20 designer themes your girls or boys can choose from.

"We do toddlers up to sweet 16s" Jaimel says.

"We've got rock star, survivor, superhero, we've also got superhero character visits, we've got a toddler party, we've got a dino dig, Hannah Montana" she says.

And your kids will certainly favor the deluxe party favors they'll receive.

Monday through Thursday from 9am-5pm "Once Upon a Bash" transforms itself into an open play area for tots.

"They can just come in no reservations needed they can just stop in with their children and just relax" Jaimel says.

But when it's party time, this place is certainly reads like a storybook where each child goes home happily ever after...At least until next year.
