
KSDK -- Seven people died on Missouri roads during the Fourth of July holiday weekend.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol worked 317 crashes in which four people died and 134 people were injured between Thursday at 6:00 p.m. and Sunday at 11:59 p.m. The St. Robert Police Department investigated one fatality. St. Louis Police Department investigated one fatality. Lee's Summit Police Department investigated one fatality.
The people who died in the crashes are: Tyler D. Wilson, 15, of Stewartsville; Kyle Myers, 18, of Liberty; Ben William Schwab, 42, of St. Robert; Kaynes Walker, 75, of Lee's Summit; Melvin Harris, 30, of St. Louis; Christoperh Harrington, 24, or Bismarck; and Carl S. Rick, 35, of Wellington.
Troopers also arrested 149 people for driving while intoxicated.
