KSDK -- A bus driver in the Rockwood School District earned high honors in the Annual International School Bus Driver Safety competition.
Hannah Beard, a driver with First Student Inc., placed seventh overall in the competition. The National School Transportation Association organizes the competition in conjunction with its annual meeting and convention.
Separate written and driving course tests are used to measure a driver's knowledge and understanding of bus operation and safety.
