Christian bands rock the riverfront

KSDK--Thousands packed the Arch grounds Sunday for the "Rock the River" tour.

The seven hour music festival was organized by hundreds of local churches in partnership with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. The summer evangelistic concert series features popular hard rock and hip-hop Christian artists. Billy Graham's son, The Reverend Franklin Graham, preached at the festival.

The one day event is rocking its way up the Mississippi River. The tour began in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. It includes stops in St. Louis, the Quad Cities and Minneapolis -St. Paul, Minnesota.
