
KSDK -- The following are unofficial voter totals on six different propositions on Tuesday's ballot in St. Louis, St. Charles and Lincoln counties.
In St. Louis County, Berkeley Proposition A (Sales Tax Economic Development) passed, 97 votes to 72 votes. University City's Proposition S (Sales Tax) was defeated, 62.7 percent to 37.3 percent, or 1,748 votes to 1,037 votes. Only 8.69 percent of registered voters in the county turned out to the ballots.
A proposition in St. Charles County promoting a sales tax measure that would support improvements to the county's emergency communication narrowly passed. Nearly 13,000 residents turned out to vote, with the ballot initiative succeeding, 6,633 votes in favor to 6,234 votes opposed.
In Lincoln County, voters approved a measure to extend the city limits of Elsberry to include surrounding unincorporated areas. Voters in the City of Hawk Point approved a pair of propositions to improve and upgrade the waterworks and wastewater treatment facilities.
