KSDK -- A second benefit will be held this weekend for a police officer wounded in the line of duty more than two weeks ago.

The Fucifino Cafe on Natural Bridge Road will host a barbeque, raffle and live music fundraiser on Saturday. It will run from 11 a.m. until 1:30 a.m. The barbecue will start at 11 a.m., with live music beginning at 8 p.m. All money raised will go toward paying medical and other bills for Officer Donald Shultz of the Berkeley Police Department.

Shultz was on patrol in Berkeley when a teen suspect allegedly opened fire and then took off. For days, officers from all over searched for the 16-year-old, circling the Washington Park Cemetery and canvassing neighboring communities. The suspect eventually turned himself in.

An early fundraiser at a local bar collected over $2,000 for Officer Shultz.
