
WEBSTER GROVES, Mo. (AP) -- Tony Plana, the Cuban-born actor and star of ABC's "Ugly Betty," will speak at Webster University on diversity.
Plana is scheduled to speak at 7 p.m. Monday on multiculturalism. The event takes place at university's Loretto-Hilton Center.
Organizers of the event say Plana is an advocate for recognizing the contributions of minorities.
Plana has directed, produced and starred in more than 60 films. He also is executive art director of California's East LA Classic Theatre.
