KSDK--The St. Louis Cardinals returned to Busch Stadium Sunday. But instead of getting ready for game four of the National League Division Series, they were cleaning out their lockers.

The Los Angeles Dodgers swept the series Saturday with a 5-1 victory before a stunned crowd at Busch Stadium. Many of the players, like outfielder Ryan Ludwick, reflected on the short post-season as they packed their belongings for the winter.

"A positive you can take out of it is you know it's a first time experience for me," Ludwick Said. "I've now been a part of the post-season, I know what it's like and you can build off that."

Cardinals pitcher Trever Miller says he is grateful to have worked with the Cardinals this year and is looking forward to spring training.

"It's a lot more fun to go further in the playoffs that's for sure," said Miller. "I don't think anyone in should hang their heads in here or in this town. We put together a winner here. It just didn't work out. It's tough to get out of that first round, we just couldn't pull it off."
