
KSDK -- Police in Jennings are searching for a man wanted in connection with the robbery of a local credit union.
According to Lt. Shawn Lane, a spokesman for the Jennings Police Department, the robbery occurred before 12:10 p.m. at the Neighbors Credit Union, located in the 8900 block of Jennings Road.
The suspect was described as a black male in his late 20s or early 30s, standing approximately 5'8" with a slender build. He was wearing a blue baseball cap with a large "P" on the front, a black coat with a hood and reddish fur trim, black pants and black shoes. He also appeared to have burn marks on his lip, chin and right cheek area.
He fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
Anyone with information on the suspect's identity and whereabouts is asked to contact the Jennings Police Department or the FBI's St. Louis office.
