
KSDK -- A 29-year-old Steelville, Missouri man was sentenced to more than 15 years in prison on federal methamphetamine conspiracy charges, Acting US Attorney Michael W. Reap said Thursday.
According to court documents, Christopher Lea pleaded guilty last July to one count of conspiracy to possess pseudoephedrine knowing that it would be used to manufacture meth, one count of conspiracy to manufacture more than 50 grams of meth, and one count of possession of pseudoephedrine knowing it would be used to brew methamphetamine.
Lea appeared in US District Court and was formally sentenced to 188 months.
Other co-defendants have already been sentenced:
--Chale Werley, 32, sentenced to 108 months in prison in September;
--Lena Leija, 25, sentenced to 57 months in prison in July
