KSDK -- Today is the last day of work for employees of Ozzie's in Westport Plaza.
The sports bar is closing its doors after more than 20 years in business.
The closure is blamed in part on competition from neighboring bar Pujols 5 and the economy.
Everything inside the restaurant, including sports memorabilia and collectibles, will be auctioned off next Saturday.
The restaurant opened in 1988, and is named after former Cardinals shortstop Ozzie Smith. Ozzie's is owned by Ray Gallardo, the founder and former owner of the Casa Gallardo Restaurant Chain.
