KSDK-- An estimated 1,000 people received Swine Flu or H1N1 vaccines Saturday in Jersey County, Illinois.
People lined up out outside the Jersey County Health Department before the event even began. Both the vaccine and nasal spray were made available. Jersey County Public Health Administrator Therese Macias says they are trying to reach as many people as possible.
"There are people dying of H1N1. We see children dying, pregnant women dying, so if there is something you can do to prevent that... " Macias said.
The clinics are open to people in Jersey County and surrounding counties and will be held over the next five Saturdays. For more information click on the link to the right of the page.
