
ST. LOUIS (AP) -- Twelve minor league coaches for the St. Louis Cardinals organization will change positions in 2010, but managers will remain in place at for four affiliates, including Triple-A Memphis and Double-A Springfield.
The Cardinals announced the coaching and training staffs on Wednesday.
Chris Maloney will remain as manager of Memphis, and Ron "Pop" Warner will continue at Springfield. Also retained as managers are Mike Schildt at Johnson City (Class A) and Steve Turco of the Gulf Coast League Cardinals.
Six affiliates will have new pitching coaches. Among them are Derek Lilliquist, who takes over at Memphis after two years as the Jupiter (Fla.) complex pitching coordinator, and Dennis Martinez, who moves up to Springfield from Class-A Palm Beach.
