
KSDK -- A Berkeley, Missouri man was arrested on last week for an alleged armed robbery.
The robbery occurred October 17 at the Conoco Gas Mart in the 3600 block of S. Big Bend Blvd.
Police said 23-year-old Carlos Strickland confessed to committing the robbery with a sawed off shotgun. Strickland also confessed to committing an additional armed robbery at a different Conoco Gas Mart, located outside the jurisdiction on the same date.
Strickland was charged with first-degree robbery, attempted first-degree robbery, and two counts of armed criminal action.
Strickland remains in custody at the St. Louis County Justice Services Center on a $100,000 bond.
