Veterans honored at St. Louis City Hall

KSDK -- Many veterans continue to serve their country long after they get out of the service. 

Saturday night there was a special ceremony honoring them at St. Louis City Hall.

It was sponsored by a group called  The Mission Continues, which awards fellowships to wounded veterans returning form war to help them continue to serve their communities.

Organizers want to empower veterans and help the community at the same time.
