KSDK -- The St. Louis Rams used some of their time off the field to pay a visit to our nation's heroes.  The visit held special meaning for Rams center Jason Brown.

Brown, guard Roger Allen, tackle Phil Trautwein and others toured the VA Medical Center - John Cochran Division on North Grand Tuesday.  They went room to room, visiting veterans.

Jason Brown has a very personal connection to the military.  His brother, Lunsford Bernard Brown II, was killed during a tour of duty in Iraq on September 20, 2003.

The visit was part of the Rams' "Salute to America's Veterans" presented by Boeing during Sunday's game versus the New Orleans Saints.

Pictures of the visit can be seen here.

Fans entering the Edward Jones Dome will receive Boeing/Rams "dog tags". the National Anthem will be performed by Generald Wilson with the United States Navy.

During halftime, there will be a special Military Pass in Review led by General Duncan J. McNabb, Commander, U.S. Transportation Command, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.
