KSDK -- A Cadet, Missouri man was arrested and charged in connection to the murder of one man and the shooting of the victim's father in September.
20-year-old Jacob Feldman is charged with first degree mruder, armed criminal action, first degree burglary and tampering with evidence.
Investigators with the Washington County Sheriff's Office and the Missouri State Highway Patrol said Feldman shot Jerry Litherland to death in Potosi on Sunday.
Litherland's father, James Litherland, had been shot outside of a garage on the same property on September 22. Investigators believe Feldman is responsible for that shooting as well.
No word yet on a motive for the shootings. Sheriff Andy Skiles said Feldman was considered a friend of the Litherland family but he would not elaborate.
Feldman is being held at the Washington County Detention Center on a three million dollar bond.
