KSDK -- O'Fallon, Missouri could soon have a new police chief and a new city administrator.
Mayor Bill Hennessy made his recommendations to the city council last week.
For police chief, Hennessy recommended the city hire former St. Louis police lieutenant Roy Joachimstaler. He was among the finalists for the St. Louis police chief job after Joe Mokwa retired.
Joachminstaler was chosen from 60 applicants across the nation.
If council members consent, the city administrator job will be offered to Keith Riesberg, who currently does the same job in Sedalia, Missouri.
The O'Fallon city council will vote on the appointments Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. in council chambers.
