KSDK -- A convicted serial burglar was sentenced to 15 years in prison Friday.
David Stauder, 47, of Affton, pled guilty to 16 counts of burglary and 14 counts of stealing in connection to crimes that occurred between May 2008 and February 2009.
Investigators said Stauder broke into businesses in South City and St. Louis County and took televisions and a computer.
Authorities believed he may also be responsible for four dozen similar crimes throughout the Metro, including in St. Charles and Perry counties.
