
KSDK -- A 42-year-old St. Louis man was sentenced Friday for illegal possession of machine guns, Acting US Attorney Michael W. Reap said.
According to court documents, Guy Allen, a former Bonne Terre resident, was convicted June 12 on one felony count of possession of a machine gun. He had two machine guns in his possession on February 14 in Francois County.
Allen appeared in US District Court and was sentenced to 24 months in prison.
