KSDK -- First and third graders at Kennerly Elementary School grunted, groaned and pulled their way to an amazing "Wings of Hope" fundraising victory on Friday.
The youngsters banded together to pull a B-25 J-Bomber at the Spirit of St. Louis Airport that afternoon.
Sponsors paid the kids for every foot they could move the plane. All donations goes to "Raise the Village," a charity that helps build chicken coups in villages in Ecuador.
