KSDK -- The St. Peters Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying a man who stole a wallet and charged more than $5,600 in an hour on the victim's credit cards.

The wallet was snatched from a purse at Ruby Tuesday's on Mid Rivers Mall Drive on November 18.  Three credit cards were used a short time later at two different Walgreen's locations in St. Peters.  The suspect bought more than $5,600 worth of American Express Gift Cards.

The suspect, who was wearing a very bright multi-colored shirt during his alleged crime, was caught on camera at Walgreen's. Police believe the suspect may have had accomplices.

If you know the man in the picture, call St. Peters Detective John Briggs at 636-278-2244 ext. 3592 or the Crime Solvers Anonymous Tip Hotline at 636-278-1000.
