CAPTION THIS: Sword swallower sets new world record

Sydney, Australia (RTV) -- An Australian street artist broke a world's record Monday that is a little hard to swallow.

Chayne Hultgren downed 18 swords at once, the most ever. He actually broke his old record of 17 that he set back in 2008.

The 31-year-old street performer said he started practicing with swords when he was 16. Over the years, he has tried different ways to improve his sword swallowing abilities, including stretching his throat with hoses.

He insists the stunt was not dangerous but he still had to train in order to down that many swords at the same time.
