KSDK -- Nearly 80 physically disabled Variety Adventure campers took to the ice today and were joined by several former St. Louis professional hockey players.

At the St. Peter's Rec Plex, the campers laced up their skates and many picked up a hockey stick and puck for some fun on the ice. They were assisted by their counselors who held their hands while they skated or helped steer their wheelchairs on the ice.

Blues Alumni Mike Zuke and Rob Ramage skated with the campers and pushed many of the campers around for rides in their wheelchairs. Also there was Variety Board Member and St. Louis Edge team member Cathy Dunkin who also brought along some of her teammates to join in on the fun.
