PINCKNEYVILLE, Ill. (AP) - One of three teenagers accused in last summer's shooting death of a girl in southern Illinois has pleaded not guilty and wants his trial heard somewhere else.
The (Carbondale) Southern Illinoisan reports that an attorney for 15-year-old Robbie Mueller entered the pleas Thursday to an amended complaint Perry County prosecutors filed last month.
Authorities allege that Mueller, 18-year-old Carl Dane and 17-year-old James Glazier entered Sidnee Stephens' home with a gun. Authorities contend the teens shot and strangled her before strapping a concrete block to her body and placing it under a bridge where a fisherman found it nearly a week later.
Mueller's attorney has filed a motion for a change of venue.
Dane and Glazier have also pleaded not guilty.
