Lindsay Lohan is fighting back against claims she trashed a 1963 trailer used by Elizabeth Taylor during the filming of Cleopatra.
The woman who bought the trailer for $50,000 in June says she loaned it to Lifetime producers this summer during the filming of the Taylor biopic Liz & Dick -- which, of course, stars Lohan as Taylor.
But when the trailer's owner, Angel Alger, got it back after filming, she told CNN there was estimated damages of around $100,000. According to Alger, the trailer was covered in cigarette burns, broken dishes were strewn about and priceless memorabilia including an old European rocking chair and a French telephone had gone missing.
TMZ reports that Lohan's rep, Steve Honig, says it's not true: "Lindsay had nothing to do with it. It's an absurd story."
And then there's this: Alger admitted she had no proof that Lohan was the one doing the trashing. She had just assumed that's what happened.
