Houston Astros blanked the Philadelphia Phillies, 5-0, in the third test of a
four-game set.
Dallas Keuchel (2-7) scattered five hits and walked four over 5 1/3 scoreless
frames for Houston, which has won two of the first three games of the series.
The red-hot Kyle Kendrick (9-11), who came into the contest 5-1 with a
minuscule 1.49 ERA over his last six starts, surrendered four runs on seven
hits in five innings for the Phillies, who sit 3 1/2 games behind the St.
Louis Cardinals for the National League's second wild-card spot.
Philadelphia, which came into the set with a seven-game winning streak, was 0-
for-10 with runners in scoring position.
