St. Louis (KSDK) - You've probably heard the old saying "breaking up is hard to do." Well, according to some new research, following you ex on social media can make it even harder, and a lot of people are doing it.
Of the 900 million people on Facebook worldwide, as many as one-third report using Facebook to check on the activities of former romantic partners.
What is it that keeps us from making a clean break, and why isn't it a good idea to follow your ex on social media?
Rebecca Dohrman, a professor of communication at Maryville University, is also a social media expert. She joined First @ 4 to talk about cyberpsychology.
