Belleville, IL (KSDK) - In an effort to reduce and hopefully end domestic violence in Illinois, Southwestern Illinois College (SWIC) applied for and received a five-year grant from the state's Violence Prevention Authority.
The grant enables SWIC to educate healthcare staff and community on the problem of domestic violence and promote not only awareness, but safety.
