Chesterfield ( KSDK ) -- A robber in a ski mask walked into the Crazy Bowls and Wraps restaurant in Chesterfield late Saturday morning and fired a gunshot before escaping through a side door. 

Police say the restaurant, at 16890 Chesterfield Airport Road, is relatively new and did not have equipment in place to capture a surveillance image of the armed robber. 

He walked into the restaurant through an east-side door, demanded money, then fired a shot from his handgun without injuring anyone.  He fled through the same door.

The bandit's described as a thin black male, about 5'9" tall, wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, and a black ski mask.
