(CNN) - The most influential woman in fashion could soon be faced with a tempting offer, working as an ambassador for the President of the United States.
Bloomberg reports that President Obama is considering Anna Wintour, editor-in-chief of Vogue, as his ambassador to the UK or France.
This is seen as a reward for the more than $500,000 she raised for Obama's re-election.
Wintour was born in the UK and is now an American citizen.
Bloomberg quotes a Vogue spokeswoman who says that Wintour is happy in her current job and not interested in a diplomatic post.
