NeNe Leakes engaged to ex-husband

Maybe the second time will be a charm.

NeNe Leakes announced on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon Thursday that the Twitter tease she gave her fans (a hallway lined with rose petals, a silver heart laid out on a bed) was the real deal: Only a year after they divorced, The Real Housewives of Atlanta and New Normal star got engaged to her ex-husband, Gregg Leakes, just after midnight on New Year's Eve.

"I was asked this beautiful question: 'Will you marry me (pregnant pause) again?'"

The Leakeses met in 1996 and have a son, Brentt, 13. Last year, Gregg, 58, in explaining the split, said he had invested $300,000 in his wife's career and that "fame got to her head." But by November, NeNe, 44, was coy on the subject of romance when chatting with Us Weekly: "You know, we're divorced. I'm single and not looking. Love is beautiful thing and marriage is a beautiful thing. People will enjoy watching Gregg try to woo me back (during season 5)."
