PINE LAWN, Mo. (KSDK) - The City of Pine Lawn is donating $8,000 to CrimeStoppers and the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.
The money will be used as a reward for anyone with vital information leading to the arrest in the homicide investigation of Ebony Jackson.
Pine Lawn officers collected the money as part of a one-day donation drive after they learned about Jackson's murder.
The goal set by Pine Lawn Police Chief Rickey Collins was $5,000.
The money will go to a fund established by CrimeStoppers to be used for a reward.
St. Louis police officers attended the presentation and said they're grateful for the city's effort.
Jackson was discovered murdered earlier this week. St. Louis homicide investigators are working on the case.
